Eczema Treatment: Depends on what treatments have been tried that don't work. Please rewrite the question with the medications and treatments listed so more specific help can be given. In general, use cetaphil instead of water when possible, moisturize the skin immediately after the lukewarm bath, when necessary with eucerin cream, hypoallergenic. Use only unscented dove soap and Dreft detergent on clothes.

Eczema: a change in his medication would be # 1. Referral to a dermatologist as well. Check with your doctor about this

I agree: with Drs Veres and Cannon. Will add 2 common scenarios that we see difficult to control eczema: 1) infection via broken skin with bacteria normally living on the skin and 2) food-related exacerbation. Appointment or virtual consult with Dermatologist or Allergist can help. also add: bathe/soak in pm, apply Aquaphor/medication and then cover (mitten/sleeve) all within 15 minutes of the soak
