See a dermatologist: Eczema that becomes painful could be infected, especially if increased redness, open sores, or pustules (pimple-like bumps). Or maybe it isn't eczema; the location isn't typical. Psoriasis commonly involves the scalp and is easily mistaken for dandruff. Psoriasis usually isn't painful, but like eczema can become infected. See a dermatologist soon; avoid creams or other treatment before being seen.
