Not best choice: Eating lean protein post workout can help recovery and muscle development. Sausages are not typically the leanest choice of protein, especially processed sausage which will be high in sodium and likely high in fat. Fat is not the enemy, but does not make for a great choice post workout. Stick with other sources of lean protein like chicken, turkey, fish.
