Depends on calories: People gain weight from eating, if they eat a total daily number of calories that are more calories than they use up that day. If the total calories burned (used) is less than the total eaten, weight increases. If the total calories burned is more than taken in, weight decreases. So, it does not matter if a person eats late (in regards to weight gain) as long as she is not eating EXTRA calories.
