Usually 1 gm/kg/day: The problem is that you cannot speak to the food and say OK you go to my muscles, you go my skin, you go my nerves, you go to my bones and so on. The best thing to do is to eat a well rounded diet and do a good exercise program and don't strain yourself and enjoy what your doing.
