30-40 grams a meal: Cutting back on carbs is a great way to lose weight. If you limit carbs to 30-40 grams with each meal it will help you lose weight. To give you an example one apple has 20 grams of carbs and a slice of bread usually has about 15-20 grams of carbs. Eat lots of vegetables and lean meats. Great that you are exercising. Good luck.
