I eat lots of protein, slow burning carbs, and i still can't lose weight, even with a 6 day a week exercise routine. do i have insulin resistance?

Weight loss: Exercise may build muscle, which can add to weight, even though you are more trim. However, most of us eat more than we think, and exercise less than we think. Recommend getting a fitbit or equivalent and use not only the exercise features, but the calorie/food counting features. If you tally up all your food every day, you may have some surprises.
