May be: You might lose weight faster, but there is also a possibility you may gain it back when you come off of your diet. Find a balanced diet program you can stick to rest of your life for losing and maintaining the loss

Calories, exercise: If you also do aerobic exercise at least 3-5 times a week, weights to build muscle, and restrict your intake of calories by about 300kcal less a day, you will lose about a pound a week which is safest. The main thing is to learn new habits by changing the old over time. Smaller portions with white smaller plates actually has been studied to help. Drink water or water-based soup or salad first.
