Lymph node: enlargement is caused by infection or inflammation in the vast majority of cases. RARELY are they caused by cancer or lymphoma. If your GI says infection, I would be comfortable with it.

Colonoscopy showed a 2cm bulging in cecum. Biopsy was good. CT scan was unremarkable. It was noted that the loop of the sigmoid colon is located in the right quadrant, immediately beneath the cecum. GI wants a follow up, but won't explain why. Help?

No diverticula found on colonoscopy. GI says could still be present on outside of colon and only seen on CT. May be source of LLQ pain. Is this right?
