Colonoscopy showed a 2cm bulging in cecum. biopsy was good. ct scan was unremarkable. it was noted that the loop of the sigmoid colon is located in the right quadrant, immediately beneath the cecum. gi wants a follow up, but won't explain why. help?

I would ask your GI as the looked in there and at biopsy and knows you and your families history of GI Cancer. We do not.

Had ulcerative colitis for 15 yrs (confirmed by sigmoid and biopsies). Just had 1st colonoscopy, shows granular, loss of vascular pattern and minor ulcers in ascending colon, cecum, sigmoid and colon. Is this UC or chrons?
Can neuroendocrine tumors occur outside of the colon in setting of CT & Octreotide scan showing in cecum but colonoscopy shows nothing in this area?

No diverticula found on colonoscopy. GI says could still be present on outside of colon and only seen on CT. May be source of LLQ pain. Is this right?
