No: Red blood in stool more frequent from anal problems rather than colon, as such a neg. colonoscopy and as a result no area requiring bx. If digital exam does not define an anal lesion or internal hemmorhoids then whatever the problem has resolved and again no bx required. Check for a repeat bleed and this followed by anoscopy.

Doctor. Bloody stool/rectal bleeding,history of pile/hard stools.I had CT Scan Colonography, showed Faecolith in colon and A Diverticulum. A Dr suggested Colonoscopy to get cause of Bleeding but I am afraid of the risks.Any other safer Test. Thanks?
Colonoscopy showed a 2cm bulging in cecum. Biopsy was good. CT scan was unremarkable. It was noted that the loop of the sigmoid colon is located in the right quadrant, immediately beneath the cecum. GI wants a follow up, but won't explain why. Help?
