Were you experiencing bowel symptoms for some time? The colonoscopy ruled out the 2 most concerning causes of bowel thickening- inflammatory bowel disease and tumor within the colon. A rare cause like lymphoma would be detected by CT scan, but I think you should relax and follow the gastroenterologist's advice.
