No difference but...: Vit B12 is the same for everyone but there are 3 main forms in supplement form- cyanocobalamin, hydroxycobalamin and methylcobalamin. I believe methylcobalamin is the best form for most people. While the only reliable vegan source of B12 are certain strains of nutritional yeast, B12 is present in dairy and eggs.
