Hello, I recently had a blood test done and the results showed low ferritin level but my iron levels were normal. I consume a diet high in vegetables, lentils and beans. My platelets count was 260 in the recent blood work but last year it was 266?
My blood test show RBC count 3.53, WBC 9.2, HEMOGLOBIN WB 11.2, HEMATOCRIT WB 33.7, PLATELET COUNT 206. Am I iron deficient? I'm a 56 y/o woman.
I have been bruising easily mostly on my legs,sometimes on my arms- never anywhere else. I got a blood test and everything was normal (CBC,folate,iron,b12 etc) except vitamin d was low and platelets were 417-so slighlty elevated. ?
Life insurance blood test showed: ESR (60) - normal ( up to 23) Platelets count (422) - normal (up to 400) MCV (77.5) - normal (from 80) MCH (24.1) - normal (from 26) HGB within normal range (122 g/L) Not having any symptoms, but still worried.
