A member asked:

Life insurance blood test showed: esr (60) - normal ( up to 23) platelets count (422) - normal (up to 400) mcv (77.5) - normal (from 80) mch (24.1) - normal (from 26) hgb within normal range (122 g/l) not having any symptoms, but still worried.

Very non specific: Esr as well the slight increased platelet as measures of inflammation and very nonspecic. If been sick lately would have risen. The slighly decreased MCV can be iron deficiency or Thalassemia or in you could be normal so you have to look at these in the clinical context that it was done in.I would not worry too much and first of all goto your primary care and repeat the ESR
