Breast Implant risks: Although breast implants are fda approved and safe they do have risks. Surgical risks, as with any procedure, include bleeding, infection, and anesthesia. The most common risks that can occur with breast implants include implant leakage, capsular contracture ( scar tissue around the implant that causes hardening, implant rippling, loss of nipple sensation, and breast asymmetry.

Risks of surgery: Implant related complications include implant failure or rupture, implant exposure, malposition, and capsular contracture. Capsular contracture is the formation of firm scar tissue around the implant resulting in asymmetry, implant deformation, visibility of the implant, and pain in very severe cases. http://www.dassmd.com/breast-augmentation/index.html.

Breast Implant Risks: One of the more common risks is capsular contracture, which develops from collagen fibers around the implants. It can tighten and make the implant feel hard and be painful. However, this problem can usually be corrected . Dr. Ricardo rodriguez baltimore, maryland.
