A LOT!!: This is super general. Insanity can mean different things to different people. First go and talk to someone to see what the issues are and then you can go from there. Is it anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, or stress.

Nothing: "Insanity" is not a medical term. It's a legal term. In the old days (before antibiotics, 1945), "insanity" often referred to the paretic form of neurosyphilis. In fact, that was called "general paresis of the insane." The term is long since obsolete; "insanity" was purged from the medical lexicon generations ago & now is meaningless in medicine. Please repost with a more specific question.

Mental illness: "Insanity" is a legal term. There are a variety of forms of mental illness. I wonder if you are asking about whether a delusional schizophrenic can be managed. While the disease results from loss of key brain cells and cannot be cured, there are meds and now some talk and education treatments that help some. It's hard on friends and family.
