Follow the tortoise: If you and your doctor think you're healthy enough for p90x, start with the one that is less intense and looks more fun. Studies show that building up in intensity leads to greater sustained behavior changes like exercise. If you go too hard too fast, like most of us do, you're likely to become too sore to resume or even may develop an injury that would lead you way of track.
