Eyelid surgery: Usually cosmetic, but may be covered by insurance if upper lids are done because there is so much skin that it interferes with vision. In the upper lids, it is generally done for too much skin. The lower lids are a little more complicated and it is easy to remove too much skin and/or fat. See a board certified plastic or facial plastic surgeon if you are interested.

Eyelid Rejuvenation: Blepheroplasty is a surgical procedure to rejuvenate the area around the eyes. Like a facelift for your eyes. It can often lead to a dramatic improvement in the aesthetic appearance of the face as aging signs of the skin around the eyes can lead a tired or angry appearance. Removing or tightening loose skin, removing, repositioning or adding fat, and tightening the lid position are examples.
