In : In the hands of an experienced eyelid surgeon (www.Asoprs.Org) complications are rare. Excessive bleeding, infection and need for more surgery are risks of any surgery. I stress that these are very rare. Stop all blood thinners, stop smoking and find an expert and you'll do well.

In : In experienced hands risks are quite rare with blepharoplasty surgery. Some of the risks vary depending on whether the upper or lower lids are involved. General risks of surgery are bleeding, infection and reaction to the anesthesia. Rare risks including the inability to fully close the eyelid, injury to the vision and double vision are extremely rare.
