Hard to tell...: ..without more information. It is good they did not see a lung mass or enlarged nodes in the mediastinum (the space between the lungs), but a 9 cm. hilar node (the area where the blood vessels enter the lung) is pretty big. A scan is usually done with a specific purpose so I suggest you talk to the physician who ordered it and discuss its implications and what's next for U. Hope it's nothing bad.
