I have had 2 CT scans in the past week and a half, they diagnosed me as mild mediastinal bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy. Could it be lymphoma.
Mom had CT chest after having bronchitis showed Mild mediastinal & left hilar lymphadenopathy,they did biopsy it was neg, no symptoms,why biopsy again?
Was diagnose with Pulmonary sarcoidosis in 2004, just had a ct done and it states Unremarkable noncontrast Ct scan of the chest. No specific evidence of Sarcoidosis in the chest. No pathologic axillary or hilar lymphadenopathy by ct size criteria. ?
What is the likelihood of lung cancer when CT scan shows pre-tracheal, subcarinal and right hilar lymphadenopathy. If cancer, is it stage 4 already?
A follow-up cxr showed right hilar density had persisted though the pneumonitis had cleared. First radiologist reported lymphadenopathy as likely however the second radiologist suggested it could be normal vascular structures. Do I need a CT?
