8 lbs !: Congratulations. That is a very aggressive weight loss program. I do not know that I would try to lose weight any faster than that. 2 lbs of wt loss per week equates to a deficit of 7000 calories per week or 1000 calories per day. That's about 50% of your daily total caloric intake.

Great weight loss: For a healthy weight loss it is recommended to loose 1-2 lbs a week. You are doing great, Don;t rush it.
