See Dr. first; then: Count calories. If calorie-counting skills are good and willpower is even greater, one can lose weight no matter what type of meal she eats. That is because she stops eating when she hits a maximum daily number of calories she allows herself. It is in the math. It really is that basic, which means any person can lose weight eating any type of meal. But, most people do not have that much willpower.
