Not enough info.: Why did he have the head injury? Was it the first seizure? Is there a personal or family history of epilepsy? What do you mean by blackouts? Does he drink excessive alcohol? What information is the neurologist giving you? What did the doctor who ordered the MRI tell you? This one is best dealt with by the treating physicians. Sorry, i can be of little help.
