"White spots" or : hyperintensities in white matter signal a disease process in the brain that increases risk of recurrent seizures & may or may not be progressive. It is prudent to place a patient on anti-epileptic medications after one seizure when evidence of demyelination & other abnormal findings are found. Definitely discuss with your neurologist.
