I'm a 19 year old male and was wondering if it would be helpful to take a daily vitamin of any kind and if so what is suggested?

Depends on diet ;...: It's best to get vitamins from our diet but the majority of americans are deficient in vit. D, e ; a ; folate, (folic acid) calcium ; magnesium ; over 1/3 are deficient in vit c, b6 ; zinc, so unless you have an exceptional diet it is reasonable to take a quality multivitamin and 5-8, 000 iu/day of vit d3. See http://bit.Ly/18xyule for a detailed discussion. But vitamins are not a substitute for a healthy diet!
