After exam: You are almost there! you should be ready to whiten now that your braces are off. Make sure to visit your dentist and get x-ray exam, if you haven't done so. Make sure there is no cavities on your teeth as any open cracks or holes will get whitening agents faster and may leave a chalky white spots on your teeth after whitening. It would be great to have straight and white teeth soon. Congrats!

Sure: In most instances, teeth whitening proceedures can be done immediately after the removal of orthodontic appliances and after a thorough cleaning of the teeth (including removal of all the cement and adhesives). If your teeth are sensitive following removal of the braces, i would wait until that sensitivity subsides.

Likely: many of our patients do-- but double check with your orthodontist first to make sure your teeth are healthy enough for the treatment.

Be patient: We recommend a 3 month waiting period to allow tooth enamel to fully remineralize before whitening. Gives a more uniform result.
