A member asked:

I was wondering, do dentists really whiten teeth after braces?

Some do: If you are asking if whitening is effective after braces the answer is yes. If your question is it part of the orthodontic treatment, it is usually not.

They can: but I hope you meant orthodontist, not dentist. I would not use a dentist to do orthodontics. But yes, we often will help patients whiten after braces

Teeth whitening : It is recommended to wait 6 month before teeth whitening after braces. Then a professional teeth whitening without laser, followed by home whitening system with custom trays for the long term effect. You will be very happy with the results.
