See dentist: See your dentist first for a complete cleaning and exam , including bite-wing x-ray images. Must be sure all is well with tissues and that there is no decay present, especially between the teeth. Then discuss whitening options. Take-home, dentist provided and monitored, whitening will give you the best results.Sometimes veneers or crowns are indicated for severe stains/ discolorations. Good luck.
