Maybe: Your pcp can likely do your pelvic but most don't so much with fertility drugs. That's usually in the realm of a fertility specialist. The referral depends on your insurance. Hmo's require a referral from your pcp while with most ppo insurance you can go straight to an in network specialist.

Variable: Some specialists require a referral from another provider and others accept self-referrals. Does your health insurance company specify if they require a referral from a primary care provider?
