A member asked:

I was exposed to tb about 25 years ago and never got treated for it. i recently talked to my pcp and she ordered a chest x-ray and it came back norma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Xray: A normal chest X-Ray is strong evidence that you don't have active pulmonary tb. If you previously had a negative tb skin test that recently turned positive, treatment by an infectious disease expert would be advisable.
