Talk to a new doc: It sounds like your PCP may not being sensitive to your issues. The first action may be to consult a new physician. Neuropathy is a debilitating condition and can be from a variety of causes. There are multiple medications that can be used to control the pain, and multiple tests that can be administered to learn more. Much can be done: There is help available but you will first have to be patient and cooperate with a doctor who can help you. See a Neurologist for treatment and to find cause of your neuropathy?? Once we know,, we can treat the cause and also there are medications which can relieve the symptoms. Drugs like Gabapentin and amytriptyline can be tried and see which one helps more. Then you can stick with one of them.
