See your doctor: You should see your doctor. You may have a sleep disorder of some sort and your doctor may need to evaluate you. Do you know if you have ever sleep-walked or sleep-talked? If so, you may have a stage 4 sleep disturbance that causes you difficulty with changing sleep stages.

Sleep : Start with your pcp but you still may need to see a sleep specialist and get a sleep study done to see what is going on. Narcolepsy, mood disorders, sleep apnea are among the possibilities.
