Variety: The basis of a healthy diet (vegetarian or not) should be a wide variety of vegetables, preferably organic-try vegies of all colors as colors represent key nutrients. Adequate protein is important, from beans, nuts, seeds, organic dairy ; eggs. Enjoy a moderate amount of fruit- limit tropical fruits. Moderate whole grains. Avoid fried foods ; gmo foods.
