Could be vitamin def: Vitamin deficiencies are a common cause of bruising. Possiblities include Vitamins C, D and K. Bioflavanoid deficiency and zinc deficiency can cause this too. Everyone will become deficient in D if they do not supplement in fall and winter months (I advise 5-8000 iu/day). I advise everyone to take a multivit. Many multis don't have Vit K so try separate K.
