Do carbomer and bacteriostatic lubricants affect endocervical swab results for chlamydia and gonorrhea pcr? my obgyn lubricated the speculum first, i do not know if its carbomer-free. im having anxieties right, cant contact my obgyn?

Lubrication is to avoid causing you discomfort and a Gyn will not use anything which will affect the specimen he /she wants to obtain. So relax you will be fine.
