Persistent microscopic hematuria without pyuria is not consistent with prostatitis. You need to have cystoscopy, especially if kidney function and urine albumin/creatinine are normal. You should see a urologist if you have not seen one yet.

It does. But a rectal exam of prostate is essential before it can be said for sure.
