Getting second septoplasty... is it worth it?

Depends: What your problem is, and the experience of the surgeon. Get a second opinion.

You answered this!: If you are having breathing problems or a nasal deformity secondary to a deviated septum getting a second opinion maybe well worth it.

Yes: Usually. I assume you had trouble breathing and after surgery, still trouble breathing. If anatomical obstruction due to septum still exists, another procedure can help. There are other reasons for symptoms. Safest plan - make sure you doc is a board certified ENT. A second opinion is always valuable in this circumstance.
