See a GI specialist: You can try a gluten free diet. Barium studies and colonoscopy are not sensitive or specific when the symptoms are loose stools. If you go to a gastroenterologist, they will most likely start with dietary modification, like a gluten free diet. This is associated with less risk than continuing with invasive procedures.
