Rare things are rare: Young adults under age 30 are unlikely to have bowel cancer. A person can never tell if she is the rare unlucky one to get cancer at a young age. More importantly, a person cannot live her life worrying about rare diseases. So, the best one can do is live a healthy life, see the doctor for evaluation and do the colonoscopy if advised.
