Many possibile cause: Usually seen on ultrasound and is a reason to be observed and -especially if associated with abnormal bleeding-have an endometrial sampling (biopsy) done in the office.

Uterus lining normal (about 10 mm) on day 7 of cycle but no follicle found, only a 25 mm cyst from previous cycle still there. The doctor wondered why a follicle was not there because of the good uterus lining.. what does it mean? Something bad?
