Glucose in snort: If you find glucose in snort, it is very suggestive of CSF leak. Perhaps a ct scan can tell as well. This is not for home-made diagnosis. Did you suffer from a head trauma recently (car accident, falling on the head, hit by a golf ball or baseball)?

Glucose: Easiest test is to check the fluid running from the nose for glucose, which your doctor can do. CSF contains glucose and mucous does not. CSF also tends to be very clear, and would be less likely to be associated with itching in the nose, sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes.
