Your doc is right.: Ms is never diagnosed the first time you have symptoms. It is likely, but you can have other reasons for these findings. Just stay aware of the symptoms and talk to your neurologist about them.

See below: Does the MRI show lesions in the spinal cord? Is an MRI of brain also showing "spots"? Is the only abnormality in the spinal fluid, protein elevation, are there oligoclonal bands? Do you really have ms, or is it just a possibility? If you have confirmed diagnosis, need treatment asap. If you do not have a good explanation, get a second opinion.
