Unlikely CSF leak: Typical symptoms of CSF leak include headaches that are often much worse with standing, relieved with lying flat and may have other neurological symptoms such as double vision and ringing in the ears. If you have not had any head trauma or a recent lumbar puncture, or spinal tap, then it will be very unusual to have a spontaneous CSF leak especially if you are young and otherwise healthy.
