Indirectly: A competent primary care or "regular" doctor can certainly recognize the risk factors and associated symptoms of a CSF leak. The most common symptom is headache that is worse when standing. Most of the time this leak is from trauma to the meninges (the outer lining of the brain and spinal cord). When you see your doctor, let them know of your concerns.
