Glad you are walking: Agree, going to have to increase energy burn. Consider bicycling, swimming, or an activity you enjoy that will increase your heart rate further. Also think about taking an online nutrition class. They really educate you about what to eat, and what not to. Start by cutting out fried food, soda, cake, ice cream and sugar.

Weight: Walking, although healthy, may not be intensive enough to alter your metabolism. Try an elliptical machine or a spinning or aerobic class. You need 40 to 50 minutes in your target zone, being a little breathy. If you continue to walk do interval walking, walking fast and then at your regular pace. Also eat a plant based diet similar to the mediterranean diet as diet is critical to weigh loss. Best.
