Good question: Not all women with pcos test positive for Insulin resistance, this may be related to how one defines 'insulin resistance, ' or it might be a real variant.

Yes: That is really the most common. The majority of women with pcos do not have Insulin resistance. Most of the women with pcos are overweight, but not all.
