More than "mild"...: Most GI docs visually rate inflammation as mild, moderate, or severe. There are standardized criteria for each portion of the gut, and these often correlate with histologic severity of disease. When you receive your biopsy results, ask your endoscopist the question you posted for the greatest accuracy of response.
