Not sure: It could be a problem with the implant materials? You might want to discuss with plastic surgeon who implanted yours about the implant you received and see if there are documented issues or not

Go back to doctor: See the person who did the implant. The fluid needs to be examined and cultured. This may be a infection with a relatively "benign" organism and it would be helpful if you were seen in concert with an infectious diseases expert. Good luck and hope this is remedial without removal of the prosthesis.

I had gel breast implants (under muscle) in 2009, 1 is now noticeably smaller. Could this be a rupture? Is an MRI scan the only way to be sure?

Would a chest CT scan done for unrelated reasons have detected a ruptured silicone implant? Hoping to avoid a routine MRI. Breast Aug was 3 years ago.
My MRI shows that my left silicon implant is folded with no leak or rupture. Is that risky cause am breast feeding ? And why there is a lot of pain ?
